HSAC WORKS AS AN INDISPENSABLE BRIDGE BETWEEN PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS IN PUBLIC SAFETY BY CONVENING STAKEHOLDERS AND PROVIDING THEM WITH COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION PLATFORMS THROUGH TECHNOLOGY, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH AT NO COST TO TAXPAYERS, GOVERNMENT OR PUBLIC SAFETY ENTITIES. IN 2016, HSAC CREATED SALUS - THE CRISIS HUB, A WEB-BASED, COMPUTER PLATFORM THAT AMALGAMATES AND TAILORS MAPPING AND SPATIAL ANALYTICS TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE DATA-DRIVEN DECISION MAKING, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AND REAL-TIME INFORMATION SHARING. THE SALUS PLATFORM SUPPORTS INCIDENT/EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, SECURITY, BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AT NO COST TO GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. IN ADDITION, HSAC CONVENED THE PRIVATE, PUBLIC, AND CIVIC SECTORS TO SUPPORT PUBLIC SAFETY AND RESILIENCY EFFORTS IN THE GREATER LOS ANGELES REGION.
