TRAUMA RESOURCE INSTITUTE (TRI) IS A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO TAKE PEOPLE FROM DESPAIR TO HOPE THROUGH SIMPLE SKILLS-BASED INTERVENTIONS BASED ON CUTTING EDGE RESEARCH ABOUT THE BRAIN TO EXPAND ACCESS TO TREATMENT BY TRAINING THE FRONTLINE SERVICE PROVIDERS AND RESPONDERS WHO DO THE HARDEST WORK WITH THE LEAST RESOURCES.

THE TRAUMA RESILIENCY MODEL AND COMMUNITY RESILIENCY MODEL ARE DESIGNED TO HELP INDIVIDUALS UNDERSTAND THE BIOLOGY OF TRAUMATIC STRESS REACTIONS AND LEARN SPECIFIC SKILLS TO RETURN THE BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT BACK TO BALANCE AFTER EXPERIENCING TRAUMATIC EVENTS. THESE SKILLS CAN AWAKEN THE HOPE THAT HAS, FOR SOME, BEEN LOST AFTER NATURAL AND HUMAN-MADE DISASTERS. TRI IS COMMITTED TO EXPANDING RESILIENCY WORLDWIDE. WE HAVE A NUMBER OF TRAININGS AND PROJECTS HAPPENING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, BOTH DOMESTICALLY IN THE U.S. AND INTERNATIONALLY.
