THE SANTA BARBARA BUCKET BRIGADE WAS CREATED TO PREPARE FOR AND RESPOND TO NATURAL DISASTERS AND COMMUNITY CRISES THROUGH VOLUNTEER TRAINING, COORDINATION AND DEPLOYMENT.

2021 PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS THE SANTA BARBARA BUCKET BRIGADE FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING VOLUNTEER DEPLOYMENT AND VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP CAPACITY IN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND UPLIFT CAMPAIGNS. THE BUCKET BRIGADE SECURED A LEASE AND BEGAN WORK ON THE SEVEN-ACRE BUCKET BRIGADE HUMANITARIAN GARDEN PROJECT. OVER 1,500 VOLUNTEERS CAME TO THE GARDEN TO HELP REMOVE INVASIVE PLANTS AND TO BEGIN PLANTING AND CONSTRUCTION ON THE NATIVE POLLINATOR GARDEN AREA. CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O
