FARM CARE & CAMP - IN THE GARDEN, FIELDS AND ANIMAL PENS OF LIVE EARTH FARM JUNIOR STAFF, LEADERS IN TRAINING AND CAMPERS FROM MANY BACKGROUNDS AND ACROSS DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES WORK TOGETHER. THROUGH SUSTAINABLE FARMING, NUTRITIOUS FOOD PREPARATION ACTIVITIES, AND NATURE BASED ART PROJECTS, YOUTH LEARN HOW CARING FOR THEMSELVES CAN ALSO SUPPORT HEALTHY ECOSYSTEMS, ECONOMIES, AND COMMUNITIES.
VIRTUAL AND IN PERSON FIELD TRIPS & FARM TOURS - FIELD TRIP ACTIVITIES VARY ACCORDING TO SEASON AND ARE TAILORED TO STUDENTS' AGE GROUP INCORPORATING COMMON CORE AND NEXT GENERATION SCIENCE STANDARDS. EVERY FIELD TRIP TEACHES NUTRITION, ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY AND FARMING SKILLS THROUGH HANDS-ON, PROJECT BASED LESSONS ON THE WORKING FARM.
