(LDI) RECRUITS OUTSTANDING DELAWAREANS AND PREPARES THEM WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, VISION, INTEGRITY AND NETWORKS TO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT AND TRANSFORM THEIR COMMUNITIES, AND TO EXCEL AT COMMUNITY, NON-PROFIT, POLITICAL, PROFESSIONAL AND CORPORATE LEADERSHIP WITHIN THE FIRST STATE.

THE ORGANIZATION'S (LDI) FOURTEENTH ANNUAL GRADUATION OF 28 FELLOWS TOOK PLACE DECEMBER 1, 2022. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS END, LDI HOSTED A SERIES OF 10 MONTHLY SESSIONS THROUGHOUT DELAWARE. A TYPICAL MONTHLY SESSION WAS COMPRISED OF SEVEN PRESENTATIONS HELD ON THURSDAY DAY, THEN THURSDAY NIGHT HOSTED BY AN LDI SUPPORTER AND FEATURING A KEYNOTE SPEAKER. THE CONCLUDING SESSION WAS HELD ON FRIDAY AND COMPRISED OF SEVEN PRESENTATIONS. SPEAKERS INCLUDED, BUT WERE NOT LIMITED TO, BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL, NON-PROFIT AND GOVERNMENTAL LEADERS. FELLOWS WERE AFFORDED THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH, LEARN FROM AND DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS WITH NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED INTELLECTUAL, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND POLITICAL LEADERS FROM THROUGHOUT DELAWARE.


THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SERIES IS A SIX-PART EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR PROFESSIONALS FOCUSED ON TEACHING LEADERSHIP SKILLS, OUTSIDE THE CORE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. IN 2022, THE TOPICS PRESENTED WERE: LEADERSHIP AND PEOPLE, WORKFORCE COMMUNICATION, LEADERSHIP AND TEAMS, LEADING IN A HYBRID WORKPLACE, PUBLIC POLICY 101, AND PUBLIC SPEAKING
