CONCERT SERIES: WE PRESENTED NINE CONCERTS IN ALAMEDA SAN MATEO AND SAN FRANCISCO COUNTIES. WE COMMISSIONED A NEW WORK FROM HANNEKE VAN PROOSDIJ CARLOS FITTANTE AND KAILI CHEN AS PART OF THE METAMORPHOSES PROGRAM IN MARCH 2023. THIS PROGRAM WAS SUPPORTED BY A NEA GRANT OF $10,000. WE RECEIVED NUMEROUS SF CLASSICAL VOICE AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARDS: BEST CHAMBER ENSEMBLE; BEST EARLY MUSIC BAROQUE ENSEMBLE; BEST CHAMBER PERFORMANCES OF OUR MUSICA TRANSALPINA AND HOLIDAY CONCERTOS CONCERTS AND OTHERS. IN COLLABORATION WITH GOTHAM EARLY MUSIC SOCIETY WE PRESENTED CONCERTS IN NEW YORK CITY IN OCTOBER 2023.
EDUCATION PROGRAM: OUR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM CONTINUED TO EXPAND ITS WEEKLY RECORDER AND VOCAL CLASSES TO SERVE 85 STUDENTS IN THREE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE WEST CONTRA COSTA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPPORTED BY A GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL. WE CONTINUED WEEKLY AFTER SCHOOL RECORDER CLASSES IN ALBANY CALIFORNIA SERVING 21 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS. JUNIOR RECORDER SOCIETY CONTINUED ITS MONTHLY MEETINGS AND PRESENTED AN ANNUAL CONCERT WITH EIGHT MEMBERS. BARBARY COAST RECORDER ORCHESTRA HAD EIGHT MONTHLY MEETINGS AND PRESENTED AN ANNUAL CONCERT WITH 28 MEMBERS.
FREE ONLINE CONCERT PROGRAMS: WE ADDED 12 VIDEOS TO OUR DIGITAL LIBRARY ON YOUTUBE NOW TOTALING 450 VIDEOS. WE GAINED 57,300 NEW SUBSCRIBERS. THE LIBRARY HAS NOW REACHED A VIEWERSHIP OF 158 MILLION WORLDWIDE. 45% OF OUR AUDIENCE IS YOUNGER THAN 34 OUR LARGEST DEMOGRAPHIC. SOCIAL MEDIA: WE HAVE 394,000 YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS 17,000 FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS 4,650 TWITTER FOLLOWERS AND 4,400 INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS. WE STARTED BROADCASTING IN MAINLAND CHINA ON THE BILIBILI AND WEIBO PLATFORMS IN JANUARY 2023. WE ARE ALSO INCLUDING CLOSED CAPTIONS TO NOW INCLUDE MANDARIN.
