TO PROVIDE HOMELESS WOMEN WITH OR WITHOUT CHILDREN WITH A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE WHILE ADDRESSING THE REASONS FOR THEIR HOMELESSNESS BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, COUNSELING, AND CONNECTION WITH SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES TO FORM A NETWORK OF ONGOING SUPPORT WHILE RESTORING THEIR HOPE, WHOLENESS AND STABILITY FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR CHILDREN. MERCY CENTER FOR WOMEN WILL PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE OF WOMEN REFERRED TO THEM FROM LOCAL EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS BY PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL AND JOB-APPROPRIATE ATTIRE. THEY ALSO OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT TOOLS, AND ASSIST WOMEN TO SUCCEED IN THEIR WORK PLACE AND IN LIFE.
