WE PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR OLDER ADULTS THAT RESIDE IN CAMERON, ELK AND MCKEAN COUNTIES IN PENNSYLVANIA. WE PERFORM PROTECTIVE SERVICES INVESTIGATIONS ON REPORTED ABUSE, NEGLECT, ABANDONMENT AND EXPLOITATION. WE MANAGE THE CARE OF OLDER ADULTS THROUGH THE OPTIONS PERSONAL CARE PROGRAM AND CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAMS. WE OFFER CONGREGATE MEALS AND HEALTH/WELLNESS PROGRAMS IN 13 SENIOR CENTERS. WE PROVIDE FUNCTIONAL ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION ASSESSMENTS, HOME DELIVERED MEALS, MEDICARE INSURANCE COUNSELING, INFORMATION/REFERRAL AND OMBUDSMAN SERVICES. HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAM:OHS PURCHASED 544 DAILY VISITS IN A COMMUNITY ADULT DAY SERVICE PROGRAM FOR 6 OLDER ADULTS.OHS PERFORMED 743 FUNCTIONAL ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION ASSESSMENTS FOR OLDER ADULTS IN NEED OF IN HOME CARE/NURSING FACILITY CARE SERVICES.OHS PURCHASED 53,912 CONGREGATE MEALS FOR 1,098 OLDER ADULTS PROVIDED AT 13 SENIOR CENTERS IN CAMERON, ELK AND MCKEAN COUNTIES. MANY OF THESE MEALS WERE TAKE-OUT DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TIME PERIOD. THE TAKE-OUT MEAL PROGRAM ENDED MARCH 31, 2022.OHS REIMBURSED 387 CAREGIVERS AND OLDER ADULTS IN THE CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM AND OPTIONS CONSUMER REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM.OHS PURCHASED 1,006 HOME DELIVERED MEALS FOR 21 OLDER ADULTSOHS PROVIDED 23,848 CALLERS WITH INFORMATION AND REFERRAL ASSISTANCE SERVICE.OHS PERFORMED 234 PROTECTIVE SERVICE INVESTIGATIONS FOR OLDER ADULTS ALLEGED TO BE VICTIMS OF ABUSE, NEGLECT OR EXPLOITATION.OHS RECEIVED AND RESPONDED TO 403 REPORTS OF NEED FOR THE PROTECTION OF ADULTS.OHS PROVIDED 561 OLDER ADULTS WITH SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS AT 13 SENIOR CENTERS IN CAMERON, ELK AND MCKEAN COUNTIES.
