EDUCATION-PROVIDES ADULT AND CHILD ORIENTED INFORMATION THAT TEACHES, ENLIGHTENS AND ENTERTAINS THE COMMUNITY OF EAGLES MERE IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT. SPECIFICALLY, THE CHILDREN'S PROGRAM INVOLVES HANDS-ON SESSIONS IN THE FIELD, WORKSHOPS AND STORY-TELLING ACTIVITIES TO EXPOSE CHILDREN TO FOREST, ANIMALS, INSECTS AND WATER ELEMENTS OF THE AREA. EVENING PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR ADULTS FOCUS ON SPECIFIC TOPICS (NATUAL GAS, INSECT, INVASION, URGAN FORESTRY) TO INCREASE AWARENESS, UNDERSTANDING AND IN SOME CASES A CALL TO ACTION TO ADDRESS CRITICAL ISSUES.
