WE USE CONSERVATION EASEMENTS, OUTREACH, ADVOCACY AND COLLABORATION TO MAINTAIN THE BENEFITS OF OPEN SPACE LANDS, PRESERVE OUR COMMUNITY'S WAY OF LIFE AND PROTECT OUR UNIQUE HERITAGE AND ECOSYSTEM.

ACQUIRED 4 QUALIFIED CONSERVATION EASEMENTS ON 278 ACRES OF CONSERVATION PROPERTY IN ADAMS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.
PURSUED 18 ADDITIONAL QUALIFIED CONSERVATION EASEMENTS ON 1,160 ACRES OF CONSERVATION PROPERTY IN ADAMS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, INCLUDING DRAFTING EASEMENTS, LEGAL REVIEW, APPRAISALS, SURVEYS, TITLE SEARCHES AND DOCUMENTATION OF CONSERVATION VALUES. THESE EASEMENTS WERE WORKS IN PROGRESS ON DECEMBER 31, 2021. MONITORED, INSPECTED AND ENFORCED 177 CONSERVATION EASEMENTS ON 12,199 ACRES OF QUALIFIED CONSERVATION EASEMENT PROPERTIES. DEVELOPED PRELIMINARY DESIGN AND LEGAL AGREEMENTS FOR PUBLIC HIKING TRAIL LINKING 3 PRESERVED PROPERTIES IN THE SCENIC ADAMS COUNTY FRUIT BELT.
ACQUIRED 58 ACRES OF IMPORTANT WATERSHED PROTECTION PROPERTY AND TRANSFERRED IT TO THE PENNSYLVANIA FISH AND BOAT COMMISSION.
