EMERGENCY MEDICAL AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES: PURCHASED MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR CLINICS IN COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE RED WIND COUNCILS AND PROVIDED EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUNDS FOR HOSPITAL TREATMENTS, DOCTORS & OTHER MORE COMPLEX PROCEDURES & TREATMENTS. MORE THAN 580 PEOPLE BENEFITED FROM THESE FUNDS.

BUILDING PROJECTS - THESE INCLUDE REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF SCHOOLS, MICRO-CLINICS, GREENHOUSES(INCLUDING THE MODEL GREENHOUSE USED FOR TRAINING COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN THE BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE OF THEIR GREENHOUSES AND ALSO TRAINING THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS INVOLVED IN THE INTEGRAL FARMING PROJECT) AND COMMUNITY STORES IN COMMUNITIES WE WORK WITH. AT LEAST SEVEN COMMUNITIES AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE HELPED BY THESE PROJECTS.


CRAFT PROJECTS - SUPPLYING EQUIPMENT (SUCH AS SEWING MACHINES AND OTHER TOOLS SUCH AS SCISSORS, NEEDLES, ETC.) AND OTHER SUPPLIES (SUCH AS FABRIC, THREAD, BEADS AND CORD, ETC) FOR THE WEAVING, EMBROIDERY JEWELRY AND OTHER CRAFT PROJECTS. THIS HELPS OVER A HUNDRED FAMILIES IN FIVE COMMUNITIES. CRAFT SKILLS AND PATTERNS ARE HANDED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION AND THIS PROJECT HELPS PROVIDE INCOME SO THE WOMEN CAN FEED THEIR FAMILIES.
