JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF THE CHISOLM TRAIL IS A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION THAT EMPOWERS YOUNG PEOPLE TO OWN THEIR FUTURE ECONOMIC SUCCESS. JAS ACTIVITY-BASED, INTERACTIVE INSTRUCTION FOCUSES ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP, FINANCIAL LITERACY, AND WORKFORCE READINESS LEADING TO MANY OUTCOMES, INCLUDING INCREASED HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION. LOCAL VOLUNTEERS BRING BUSINESS RELEVANCY TO THE CLASSROOM AND REINFORCE THE VALUE OF EDUCATION. JA VOLUNTEERS SHARE REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES TO HELP STUDENTS BROADEN THEIR MINDS AND BELIEVE IN THEIR OWN CAPABILITIES. A RECENT JA ALUMNI SURVEY SHOWS THAT JA BUILDS CONFIDENCE AND A CAN DO ATTITUDE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO FUTURE SUCCESS. STATISTICS SHOW THAT JA SHARPENS COMPETITIVE EDGE, ENHANCES PRODUCTIVITY, PROMOTES PERSONAL SUCCESS AND GENERATES ENTREPRENEURSHIP AMONG FORMER JA STUDENTS. IN THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR, 43,000 STUDENTS BENEFITTED FROM JA LEARNING EXPERIENCES THROUGHOUT JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF THE CHISOLM TRAILS OPERATING TERRITORY OF 100 COUNTIES IN TEXAS.
