MENTORS INTERNATIONAL HAS HELPED OVER 5 MILLION INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES SINCE 1990. DURING THE PERIOD REPORTED, MENTORS INTERNATIONAL HELPED 25,308 FAMILIES WORK TOWARDS SELF-RELIANCE. MENTORS INTERNATIONAL PROVIDED 22,676 CUSTOMIZED MENTORING SESSIONS. 5,796 STUDENTS RECEIVED JOB-FOCUSED VOCATIONAL TRAINING. THESE STUDENTS PERFORMED 172,753 HOURS OF SUBSTANTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICE ON BEHALF OF MENTORS INTERNATIONAL TO "PAY" FOR THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING THAT THEY RECEIVED. MENTORS INTERNATIONAL'S MICRO- LENDING PROGRAM POSITIVELY IMPACTED INDIVIDUALS BY DISTRIBUTING 3,177 LOANS TOTALING 1,185,117. 70% OF THE MICRO-LOANS WERE EXTENDED TO WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS. APPROXIMATELY 10,000 NEW JOBS WERE CREATED OR OBTAINED BY THE INDIVIDUALS UTILIZING THESE PROGRAMS. DURING THE PERIOD REPORTED, ON AVERAGE, INDIVIDUALS WORKING WITH MENTORS INTERNATIONAL INCREASED THEIR INCOMES BY 63%, INCREASED THEIR PERSONAL SAVINGS BY 184%, AND DECREASED THEIR CONSUMER DEBT BY 46%.
