THE YOUNG ARTIST CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC IS DEDICATED TO EXCELLENCE IN PEDAGOGIC MUSICAL INSTRUCTION BY PROMOTING A 'POTENTIAL-ACHIEVING" ENVIRONMENT. THE CONSERVATORY IS COMMITTED TO FURTHERING MUSICAL AND THEATRE ARTS EDUCATION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.

YOUNG ARTISTS CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC YACM PROVIDES FULL SERVICE MUSIC EDUCATION FOR APPROXIMATELY 180 ANNUAL ENROLLED STUDENTS AGES 4 TO ADULT. STUDENTS ATTEND VARIOUS INSTRUMENTAL AND VOCAL PRIVATE SEMI-PRIVATE GROUP MUSIC LESSONS AND REHEARSE IN THE CONSERVATORY PRODUCES APPROXIMATELY 20 ANNUAL MUSIC CONCERTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN VARIOUS COMMUNITY THEATRES AND VENUES PROVIDING STUDENTS WITH PERFORMANCE TRAINING AND COLLABORATIVE ARTS EXPERIENCES WHICH ENHANCE COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION FOR MUSICAL ARTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 7000 ANNUAL AUDIENCE MEMBERS.


YACM ENROLLS STUDENTS IN THEATRE EDUCATION UNDER THE DIVISION NAME OF SOLANO YOUTH THEATRE SYT. SYT STUDENTS REHEARSE FOR PRODUCTIONS EACH YEAR DIVIDED BETWEEN 2 SEASONS OF CHILDREN'S THEATRE. MUSIC STUDENTS ALSO REHEARSE TO ACCOMPANY THE MUSICALS AS PART OF THE PIT ORCHESTRA WHEN NOT IMPACTED BY COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS. REVENUES ARE RECEIVED IN THE FORM OF REGISTRATION AND TUITION PAYMENTS GRANTS FUNDRAISING AND TICKET SALES OF THEATRE PRODUCTIONS. EXPENSES ARE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROGRAM INCLUDING EMPLOYEE SALARIES OF THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND SUPPORT STAFF.
