IN 2022, THE ADAMS COUNTY FOUNDATION DISCUSSED THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE FOUNDATION AND THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED ADAMS COUNTY COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT GRANT (CEG) ADVISORY COMMITTEE. THE FOUNDATION SERVED AS THE CEG ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO RECEIVE AND REVIEW 46 COMPETITIVE GRANT REQUESTS AND RECOMMENDED TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS THAT 33 GRANTS TOTALING $800,000 BE AWARDED TO LOCAL NONPROFITS SERVING ADAMS COUNTY RESIDENTS IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, HEALTH, HOUSING, HUMAN SERVICES, AND POVERTY REDUCTION.
