ACROSS THE HUMAN, PLANT, ANIMAL AND INDUSTRIAL BIOSCIENCES, BIOKANSAS IS FOCUSED ON ENHANCING THE BUSINESS AND RESEARCH CLIMATE AND WORKING WITH LEADERS ACROSS THE STATE TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN BIOSCIENCE TALENT, COMPANIES AND FUNDING.

INDUSTRY/EDUCATION OUTREACH - ONE OF BIOKANSAS'S PRIMARY FUNCTIONS IS TO SERVE AS THE VOICE OF THE BIOSCIENCE COMMUNITY IN KANSAS. IN PERFORMING THIS FUNCTION, WE CONDUCT FORMAL AND INFORMAL EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH ACTIVITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE STUDENT OUTREACH, LOCAL NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL POSTER COMPETITIONS, AS WELL AS OUTREACH TO TEACHERS, PARENTS, AND THE PUBLIC.
INDUSTRY PROMOTION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH - BIOKANSAS SERVES AS THE VOICE OF THE BIOSCIENCES COMMUNITY IN KANSAS BY REPRESENTING OUR BIOSCIENCE INDUSTRY AT CONFERENCES AND THROUGH OTHER PUBLIC APPEARANCES AND PRESENTATONS.
