THE ELKHORN PUBLIC SCHOOL FOUNDATION THROUGH ITS ELKHORN KIDS CAMPUS PROGRAM PROVIDES STATE-LICENSED CHILD CARE SERVICES AWAY FROM HOME FOR OVER 1,000 SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN GRADES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SIXTH GRADE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL HOURS IN ORDER TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO BE GAINFULLY EMPLOYED. CHILD CARE SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AND ALSO DURING THE SUMMER. EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS, ARTS AND CRAFTS, FUN WITH FOOD AND PHYSICAL RECREATION ARE INCORPORATED INTO THE ELKHORN KIDS CAMPUS PROGRAM.
