PROVIDE BENEFITS TO FIREFIGHTERS INJURED OR KILLED AS A RESULT OF THEIR EMPLOYMENT BY CITY OF SHAWNEE FIRE DEPARTMENT. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING 24-HOUR LIFE INSURANCE AND DISABILITY INSURANCE ON MEMBERS.

THE STEMM FIRE FOUNDATION IS PROVIDING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATH AND MEDICAL CAREER EXPOSURE, EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT BY CONNECTING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS TO RURAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND COMMUNITIES IN AN EFFORT TO IGNITE INTEREST AND EMPOWER RURAL YOUTH, PARENTS AND EDUCATORS.

TO PROMOTE THE LOVING AND HUMANE TREATMENT OF PEOPLE AND ANIMALS THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND SERVICES. TO PROVIDE SENIOR DOGS A SAFE, LOVING, AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT THROUGH RESCUE EFFORTS, ADOPTION, AND LIFELONG CARE IF NEEDED.
