SKI SCHOOL PROGRAM - THE SKI SCHOOL AT HOLIMONT SNOWSPORTS, INC. PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS TO LEARN SNOWSPORTS WITH OUR TRAINED STAFF. OUR STAFF INCLUDES MEMBERS OF THE PROFESSIONAL SKI INSTRUCTORS OF AMERICA, AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS, AND THE CANADIAN SKI INSTRUCTORS ALLIANCE. ALL LEVELS OF TEACHING ARE NOW AVAILABLE FROM NOVICE TO EXPERT. LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR INSTRUCTION IN ALPINE SKIING, NORDIC SKIING, SNOWBOARDING, FREESTYLE, CROSS COUNTRY SKIING OR SNOWSHOEING. NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVED: 1,292.


RACE PROGRAM - THE HOLIMONT SNOWSPORTS RACE PROGRAM PROMOTES COMPETITIVE SKI RACING AND SNOWBOARDING FOR ANY AGE SKIER AND HAS EARNED A REPUTATION FOR DEVELOPING SUCCESSFUL COMPETITORS. THE ADULT RACING PROGRAM EMPHASIZES TECHNICAL FREE SKIING IN PREPARATION FOR GATE TRAINING. THE YOUTH RACING GROUP PROGRAMS CONCENTRATE ON BASIC SKIING AND RIDING SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES, INCLUDING: SLALOM, GIANT SLALOM, SUPER G, DOWNHILL, ALPINE SNOWBOARDING, SLOPES, HALFPIPE, AND BOARDERCROSS TECHNIQUE. HOLIMONT SNOWSPORTS BELIEVES IN HAVING THE SAME COACH EACH LESSON IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CONTINUITY IN TEACHING TECHNIQUE AND THEN TO ENSURE IMPROVEMENT ON THE RACE COURSE AND IN FREE SKIING/RIDING. OUR RACING PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS COMPETE ON THE LOCAL USASA, USSA, AND FIS RACING CIRCUITS. NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVED: 235.


SPECIAL NEEDS ADAPTIVE PROGRAM - THE HOLIMONT SNOWSPORTS SCHOOL IS PROUD TO OFFER THE PHOENIX PROGRAM - AN ADAPTIVE SKI PROGRAM FOCUSED ON INSTRUCTION AND GUIDANCE FOR INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS, WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. STAFFED BY DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS AND TRAINED INSTRUCTORS, THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A SAFE, COMPASSIONATE SKIING ENVIRONMENT. EACH STUDENT IS ASSIGNED AN INSTRUCTOR AND A VOLUNTEER. SPECIAL ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED TO SUPPORT THESE INDIVIDUALS IN THIS ATHLETIC ENDEAVOR. NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVED: 14.
