INSPIRE KIDS PRESCHOOL, THERAPY AND EVALUATION PROGRAMS: INSPIRE KIDS PROVIDED FULL AND HALF-DAY SPECIAL EDUCATION PRESCHOOL CLASSROOMS ACROSS 5 SITES, RELATED SERVICE THERAPIES, AND PRESCHOOL ELIGIBILITY EVALUATIONS FOR 379 CHILDREN, AGES 3-5 YEARS. SERVICES INCLUDE SPECIAL EDUCATION AND RELATED SERVICES OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, SOCIAL WORK/COUNSELING, SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY, AND TEACHER OF THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED. ELIGIBILITY EVALUATIONS WERE PROVIDED FOR CHILDREN REFERRED BY THEIR SCHOOL DISTRICTS. ALL PRESCHOOL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED VIA COUNTY CONTRACTS.
DISABILITY SERVICES INSPIRE'S DISABILTY SERVICES ARE COMPRISED OF OPWDD WAIVER SERVICES AND SUPPORTS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. SERVICES INCLUDE COMMUNITY HABILITATION, GROUP DAY HABILITATION WITHOUT WALLS, AND RESPITE SERVICES IN HOME, CENTER, AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS. ADDITIONAL SUPPORTS ARE PROVIDED THROUGH FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES. 756 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WERE SUPPORTED IN 2020-2021.
REHABILITATION SERVICES OUTPATIENT SERVICES WERE PROVIDED THROUGH THE ARTICLE 16 DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES CLINIC, COMPRISING SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, AND PSYCHOLOGY FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS DEMONSTRATING OR AT RISK FOR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE CLINIC SUPPORTS 15 INDIVIDUALS IN 2020-2021. THE ARTICLE 16 CLINIC WAS CLOSED AUG. 31, 2020.
