THE YWCA MOHAWK VALLEY'S DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SEXUAL VIOLENCE NON-RESIDENTIAL SERVICES PROVIDE 24-HOUR CRISIS INTERVENTION SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, 365 DAYS A YEAR, TO VICTIMS AND SECONDARY VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE. SERVICES INCLUDE 24-HOUR HOTLINE, ADVOCACY/ACCOMPANIMENT THROUGH MEDICAL, POLICE AND COURT PROCEEDINGS, SHORT-TERM COUNSELING, SUPPORT GROUPS, AND MANDATED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EDUCATION CLASSES. IN 2021 WE SERVED 8,363.

ALL SERVICES PROVIDED ARE FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL. IN 2021 WE SERVED 202.
THE YWCA MOHAWK VALLEY'S COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE PREVENTION EDUCATION THROUGHOUT HERKIMER AND ONEIDA COUNTIES TO INCREASE AWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS (KINDERGARTEN-COLLEGE) REGARDING PREVALENCE, IMPACT, AND WHERE TO GO FOR HELP IF NEEDED.
