THIS SEASON (FY22), THE CECILIA CHORUS OF NEW YORK PRESENTED TWO CONCERTS WITH SOLOISTS AND ORCHESTRA, UNDER THE BATON OF MUSIC DIRECTOR, MARK SHAPIRO, IN CARNEGIE HALL'S ISAAC STERN AUDITORIUM/RONALD O. PERELMAN STAGE. IN DECEMBER 2021, THE CHORUS PERFORMED MARGARET BONDS BALLAD OF THE BROWN KING AND HANDELS MESSIAH, AS REVISED BY MOZART. IN APRIL 2022, THE CHORUS PRESENTED A CONCERT CONSISTING OF ORFFS CARMINA BURANA AND STRAVINSKYS RITE OF SPRING, ARRANGED FOR FOUR PIANOS. OUR OUTREACH TO HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS AND CLIENTS OF SOCIAL SERVICES ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDED TICKETS UNDERWRITTEN BY CHORUS MEMBERS DONATIONS
