THIS SEASON, UNDER THE BATON OF MUSIC DIRECTOR, MARK SHAPIRO, THE CECILIA CHORUS OF NEW YORK PERFORMED MARGERER BONDS BALLAD OF THE BROWN KING, J.S. BACHS CHRISTMAS ORATORIO, PART V, AND J.S. BACHS MAGNIFICAT IN DECEMBER 2022 WITH SOLOISTS AND ORCHESTRA IN CARNEGIE HALL'S ISAAC STERN AUDITORIUM/RONALD O. PERELMAN STAGE. IN APRIL 2023, THE CHORUS PERFORMED THE WORLD PREMIERE OF DERRICK SKYES NEITHER SEPARATED, NOR UNDONE, COMMISSIONED BY THE CHORUS, MARIANNA VON MARTINES DIXIT DOMINUS, W.A. MOZARTS DIXIT DOMINUS, AND BELA BARTOKS THREE VILLAGE SCENES WITH SOLOISTS AND ORCHESTRA IN CARNEGIE HALL'S ISAAC STERN AUDITORIUM/RONALD O. PERELMAN STAGE.
