2021 FEATURED A ROBUST RETURN TO PERFORMANCES IN THE UNITED STATES AND WORLDWIDE FOR JACK QUARTET. JACK PERFORMED REGULARLY IN NEW YORK AND SHARED MANY OF THESE PERFORMANCES VIA LIVESTREAM, WORKING WITH PRESENTERS INCLUDING THE KAUFMAN MUSIC CENTER, ROULETTE IN BROOKLYN, MILLER THEATRE AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART'S PERFORMANCE SERIES, THE PEOPLES SYMPHONY CONCERTS SERIES, AND THE TIME:SPANS FESTIVAL, AND PERFORMING IN VARIED SPACES INCLUDING BROOKFIELD PLACE, CENTRAL PARK, MOMA PS1, AND JACK ARTS. AFTER COVID VACCINATIONS BECAME READILY AVAILABLE, JACK RESUMED ITS DOMESTIC TRAVEL SCHEDULE WITH PERFORMANCES IN CALIFORNIA (LAGUNA BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL), MARYLAND (WOCO FESTIVAL), VERMONT (NEW MUSIC ON THE POINT), NORTH CAROLINA (BLACK MOUNTAIN COLLEGE), AND IOWA (UNIVERSITY OF IOWA, WHERE JACK HAS WORKED INTENSIVELY WITH THEIR STRING STUDENTS AND COMPOSERS FOR SEVERAL YEARS). JACK ALSO UNDERTOOK AN AMBITIOUS SCHEDULE OF THREE INTERNATIONAL TOURS IN FALL 2021, PERFORMING AT TEN VENUES ACROSS GERMANY, POLAND, AUSTRIA, LATVIA, ITALY, ENGLAND, DENMARK, AND BELGIUM. IN FALL 2021, JACK ANNOUNCED 18 NEW RECIPIENTS OF WORKSHOPS, RECORDING SESSIONS, AND COMMISSIONS WITH JACK STUDIO, ITS ALL-ACCESS INITIATIVE WHERE COMPOSERS RECEIVE FUNDING, WORKSHOP TIME, MENTORSHIP, AND RESOURCES TO DEVELOP NEW WORKS WITH THE QUARTET. ALSO IN FALL 2021, JACK ESTABLISHED THE JACK CREATIVE FUND, FORMALIZING THE QUARTETS LONG-STANDING SUPPORT OF NEW WORKS BY LIVING ARTISTS. THIS CREATIVE FUND ENABLES JACK TO SUPPORT DOZENS OF COMMISSIONS EACH YEAR AS THEY MOVE FROM THEIR EARLIEST STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THEIR PREMIERES.
