EACH PROGRAM OFFERED BY SAGE IS STRATEGICALLY IMPLEMENTED AND DEVELOPED TO ENSURE IT FULFILLS AT LEAST ONE OF THESE THREE KEY AREAS. "SEE ART" IS FULFILLED THROUGH THE OPPORTUNITIES SAGE PROVIDES TO THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE A WIDE VARIETY OF ART IN ITS MEMBER AND EXHIBITION GALLERIES. -CREATE ART" IS FULFILLED THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES CREATIVE ARTS LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL AGES AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS. SAGE FURTHERED ITS MISSION AND CONTINUED STRATEGICALLY IMPLEMENTING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT FALL UNDER ONE OF ITS THREE KEY PILLARS OF SEE ART, CREATE ART, AND PROMOTE ART. THROUGH ITS EXHIBITION AND MEMBER GALLERIES, COMMUNITY ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM, MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM, AND ARTS PROMOTION EFFORTS IT ACHIEVED THE FOLLOWING ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2020: HOSTED SIX ART EXHIBITIONS FEATURING THE WORK OF BOTH LOCAL AND VISITING ARTISTS WELCOMED 3,029 VISITORS TO OUR GALLERIES SUPPORTED AND PROMOTED LOCAL ARTISTS BY SELLING OVER 342 PIECES OF ARTWORK FROM THE MEMBER GALLERY SUPPORTED AND COLLABORATED WITH 197 SAGE MEMBERS PROVIDED ARTS LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO OVER 521 PARTICIPANTS THROUGH 72 CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND ARTIST TALKS SUPPORTED A LOCAL CREATIVE ECONOMY THROUGH PAYING 35,035 IN ARTIST COMMISSIONS AND ART INSTRUCTOR WAGES
