THE ORGANIZATION COMING OFF OF A COVID SAW A LARGE DROP IN MEMBERSHIP. THERE WERE MINIMAL TOURNAMENTS AND LEAGUES THROUGHOUT THE MAJORITY OF THE SEASON. ONCE THE PANDEMIC EASED AND HAWAII RELAXED IT "LARGE GATHERING" POLICY (FOR A SHORT TIME IN JULY 2021) WE WERE ABLE TO HOST A TOURNAMENT AT THE HAWAII CONVENTION CENTER INVOLVING 50 TEAMS COMPRISED OF JUNIORS AND ADULTS. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE DELTA VARIANT HIT AND HAWAII WAS AGAIN SHUT DOWN VIA THE GOVERNOR'S EXECUTIVE POWERS RESTRICTING LARGE GATHERINGS.
