HALE MAKANA PROVIDES PERMANENT AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO RESIDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY.EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2015, KHAKO ACQUIRED HALE MAKANA O'WAIALE RENTAL PROJECT, WHICH IS A 200-UNIT MULTIFAMILY APARTMENT COMPLEX LOCATED IN WAILUKU, HAWAII, INTENDED FOR RENTAL TO INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES WITH INCOME BELOW 50% OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI'S MEDIAN GROSS INCOME LEVELS.
