THE MOJAVE FACULTY ASSOCIATION ENGAGED IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:-CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS RELATING TO THE EMPLOYMENT TERMS OF THE MEMBERSHIP.-TEACHERS MEETINGS TO KEEP THE MEMBERSHIP INFORMED OF THE STATUS OF ABOVE NEGOTIATIONS.-ANNUAL NEW TEACHER ORIENTATION TO WELCOME NEW TEACHERS TO THE DISTRICT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.-MONTHLY STAFF SOCIALS AT SCHOOL SITES TO RAISE TEACHER MORALE.-MONTHLY SITE REPRESENTATIVE AND BOARD MEETINGS.-HANDLING GRIEVANCES RELATED TO EMPLOYMENT.-SPONSOR TEACHERS TO GO TO PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT..ALL ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED BY ELECTED OFFICERS OR BY MEMBERSHIP.
