THE ASSOCIATIONS REPRESENTS APPROXIMATELY 6,300 FULL & PART TIME MEMBERS IN THE SAN DIEGO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. SERVICES PROVIDED CONSISTED OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, CONTRACT ENFORCEMENT AND MAINTENANCE, AND ORGANIZING MEMBERS AROUND SITE ISSUES. THESE SERVICES WERE FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE UNIT MEMBERS' SALARIES, BENEFITS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. THE ASSOCIATION KEPT ITS MEMBERS INFORMED OF AND INVOLVED IN ITS ACTIVITIES THROUGH REGULAR MEETINGS AND COMMUNICATIONS.
