Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

LONG BEACH CAMERATA SINGERS HAD A SUCCESSFUL 2022-2023 ARTISTIC SEASON. THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS YEARS ACTIVITY WAS THE FULFILLMENT OF A LONG-AWAITED GOAL TO ESTABLISH AN ALL-PROFESSIONAL CHAMBER GROUP. THAT BECAME A REALITY THIS YEAR WITH THE DEBUT OF THE CATALYST CHAMBER ENSEMBLE IN A NOVEMBER PERFORMANCE OF CONSIDERING MATTHEW SHEPARD AND A BEAUTIFUL SPRING RECITAL OF SPANISH BAROQUE MUSIC. WE HAD A THIRD SEASON OF OUR FREE FRONT PORCH CONCERT SERIES. THE LARGER CAMERATA SINGERS PEFORMED THREE SELF-PRODUCED CONCERTS, PLUS ONE PERFORMANCE WITH THE LONG BEACH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. CAMERATAS EDUCATION PROGRAMS CONTINUE TO FLOURISH, WITH THE PRE-K PROGRAM EXPANDING TO THREE YMCA OF LONG BEACH LOCATIONS. HOWEVER WE HAVE CONCERNS FOR UPCOMING SEASONS, WITH THE END OF COVID ASSISTANCE AND AUDIENCES NOT YET BACK IN FULL FORCE. WE CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR REVENUE SOURCES TO REPLACE COVIDE ASSISTANCE, AND MAY FACE SOME CUTBACKS IN THE FUTURE.
