DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, THE USUAL IN-PERSON CONCERTS WERE REPLACED BY TWO VIRTUAL OFFERINGS SEEKING TO INSPIRE AUDIENCES WITH SONGS THAT CELEBRATE DIVERSITY AND EVOKE OUR SHARED HUMAN EXPERIENCES. THE DECEMBER VIRTUAL CONCERT IT'S NOT THE HOLIDAY TIL THE ANGELS SING WAS STREAMED FREE OF CHARGE, REACHING MORE THAN 44,000 VIEWERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. THE CONCERT WAS ALSO SCREENED ON CLOSED -CIRCUIT TV AT KENDAL & OTHER RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES FREE OF CHARGE, REACHING SENIOR RESIDENTS WHO WERE ISOLATED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
THE SPRING CONCERT PLAY IT FORWARD WAS ALSO STREAMED FREE OF CHARGE AND GARNERED MORE THAN 18,000 VIEWERS.
ANGEL CITY YOUTH CHORALE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE MUSIC EDUCATION TO YOUNG PEOPLE AFFILIATED WITH BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS. ACC DONATED A MURAL PAINTING AND TREE PLANTING TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF BURBANK AND GREATER EAST VALLEY.
