CHANTICLEER'S MISSION IS TO PRESENT CHORAL MUSIC AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE AND TO ENCOURAGE WORLDWIDE APPRECIATION FOR THE ART OF ENSEMBLE SINGING THROUGH LIVE PERFORMANCES, EDUCATION, RECORDINGS AND THE CREATION OF NEW CHORAL WORKS.

TOURING: IN ADDITION TO PERFORMING LOCALLY, SAN FRANCISCO CHANTICLEER PERFORMS NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, CHANTICLEER MADE A ROBUST RETURN TO THESE ACTIVITIES, PERFORMING IN 23 STATES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. HISTORICALLY, CHANTICLEER HAS PERFORMED IN SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT AND VENERABLE CONCERT HALLS, CHURCHES, AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE WORLD. FROM VENUES LIKE SCHOOL GYMNASIUMS TO CENTRAL PARK WITH THE NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC, CHANTICLEER BRINGS ITS FLAWLESS MUSIC MAKING TO THOUSANDS OF EAGER LISTENERS AND CONTINUES TO SHARE THE JOY OF SINGING WITH ITS DEVOTED FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD.
LOCAL PROGRAMS: SAN FRANCISCO CHANTICLEERS PURPOSE IS TO PRESERVE AND FOSTER CHORAL MUSIC, AND TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF THIS ART FORM THROUGH LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCES. DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, CHANTICLEER PERFORMED FOR 15,000 PEOPLE AT LOCAL PERFORMANCES IN FORMAL CONCERTS AND SPECIAL APPEARANCES FOR STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS.
RECORDINGS AND FILMS: AS PART OF ITS ONGOING OPERATIONS, SAN FRANCISCO CHANTICLEER RECORDS MUSIC EACH YEAR IN CONNECTION WITH ITS IN-HOUSE PRODUCTION OF COMPACT DISCS AND COMMERCIAL DIGITAL RELEASES. CHANTICLEER HAS ALSO BEGUN A SERIES OF FILMED PRODUCTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED TO AUDIENCES AROUND THE WORLD. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SELLS CDS AND DVDS AT PERFORMANCES AND THROUGH VARIOUS MUSIC DISTRIBUTORS. ALL REVENUES DERIVED PERMIT THE ORGANIZATION TO CARRY OUT ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE, INCLUDING THE OPERATION OF ITS MUSIC OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
