THE 1917 SHAFTER RAILROAD DEPOT SERVES AS THE LOCAL MUSEUM WHERE ARTIFACTS, DOCUMENTS, AND PHOTOS PERTAINING TO THE HISTORY OF THE AREA ARE ON EXHIBIT. ADJACENT BUILDINGS AND THE AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM EXHIBIT THE FARMING HERITAGE OF SHAFTER. 712 VISITORS WERE RECORDD AT THE MUSEUM THE FIRST HALF OF THE FISCAL YEAR. THE SECOND HALF THE MUSEUM WAS CLOSED DUE TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA CORONA VIRUS RULES.
