OPERATING A PUBLIC HISTORICAL MUSEUM DEDICATED TO THEPRESERVATION OF AMERICANA - PROJECTED OPENING HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 2026. AS THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO REPAIR EXTERNAL FEATURES LARGER PROBLEMS WITH THE "BONES" OF THE MUSEUM HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED. ONCE THE EXTERNAL FEATURES HAVE BEEN RESTORED (I.E. ROOF, LOAD BEARING WALLS, AND WATER DRAINAGE ISSUES, WELL RESTORATION), FOCUS WILL CENTER ON RESTORATION OF THE INSIDE OF THE MUSEUM. THAT BEING SAID, THE SALOON IS WELL ON ITS WAY WITH NEW FLOORS AND KITCHEN AREAS. FURTHER, EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN PURCHASED IN ORDER TO EXPEDITE EXTERNAL REPAIRS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE USED FOR FUTURE MAINTENANCE. WE CONTINUE TO REACH OUT TO OUR NEIGHBORS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO SHARE THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION TO PRESERVE THE SONORAN DESERT AND THE WILDLIFE THAT INHABIT IT.
