HABITAT RESTORATION: 42,365 NATIVE TREES AND SHRUBS WERE PLANTED TO RESTORE NEARLY 48 ACRES OF RIPARIAN HABITAT ALONG LOCAL STREAMS. 138 ACRES OF NATIVE PLANT CARE AND INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL WAS COMPLETED TO MAINTAIN RIPARIAN HABITAT PROJECTS. 3827 ACRES OF FLOODPLAIN WERE SURVEYED FOR KNOTWEED ALONG 34 MILES OF THE SKAGIT AND SAUK RIVERS. 1.7 MILES OF STREAM WAS OPENED TO SALMON BY REMOVING FISH PASSAGE BARRIERS. 1,297 COMMUNITY MEMBERS WERE REACHED THROUGH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS. 8,674 HOURS WERE DONATED BY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS. 771 STUDENTS WERE ENGAGED IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
