INSURANCE - THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION COLLECTS DUES FROM THE DEPUTY SHERIFFS. A PORTION OF THESE DUES ARE ALLOCATED TO PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH LIFE AND DISABILITY INSURANCE FOR THEIR BENEFIT.
LEGAL, CONSULTING, & CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS - THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION PROVIDES LEGAL, CONSULTING AND NEGOTIATIONS SERVICES FOR THE MEMBERS.
PORAC AND OTHER LOBBYING - THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION AND MEMBERS ARE PART OF PEACE OFFICERS RESEARCH ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA (PORAC). PORAC REPRESENT CALIFORNIA PEACE OFFICERS STATEWIDE. PORAC IDENTIFIES SAFETY NEEDS TO ITS MEMBERS ALONG WITH PROVIDING OTHER BENEFITS SUCH INSURANCE AND RETIREE MEDICAL BENEFITS.
