VERMONT:OJBC WORKS WITH THE STATE OF VERMONT TO HELP FACILITATE A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT PUBLIC SAFETY EXCHANGES. THIS INCLUDES A SUBSCRIPTION NOTIFICATION SERVICE THAT ALERTS SUPERVISION OFFICERS OF SUPERVISED PERSONS' INVOLVEMENT IN LAW ENFORCEMENT INCIDENTS. IN FY2020, OJBC EXPANDED THE WARRANT WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT PORTAL TO HELPS LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE COURTS MANAGE THE ENTIRE LIFE CYCLE OF A WARRANT. OJBC IS ALSO SUPPORTING A TRANSITION IN STATE FROM ONE RMS VENDOR TO A NEW RMS VENDOR STATEWIDE. OJBC IS ALSO WORKING WITH VERMONT TOWARDS STATE-WIDE ELECTRONIC TICKETING WITH A NEW COURT VENDOR.
HAWAII:OJBC PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE HAWAII INTEGRATED JUSTICE INFORMATION SHARING (HIJIS) TO ASSIST PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES WITH THEIR INFORMATION SHARING NEEDS. IN FY 2020 OJBC ASSISTED HAWAII IN TRANSITIONING THE INFRASTRUCTURE TO LATEST VERSIONS OF SPRING BOOT AND JAVA. OJBC ALSO ADDED ADDITIONAL FEATURES TO PROCESS CIVIL FINGERPRINT TRANSACTIONS AND PROVIDE BOTH IN-STATE AND FEDERAL NOTIFICATIONS BASED ON UPDATES TO AN INDIVIDUAL RAP SHEET. OJBC IS CURRENTLY INTEGRATING DATA SOURCES INTO THE FEDERATED QUERY PORTAL SO AN AUTHORIZED USER CAN DO A SINGLE SEARCH AND RETURN RMS, CRIMINAL HISTORY, FIREARMS AND PROSECUTION RECORDS.
MICHIGAN:IN FY2020, OJBC IS WORKING WITH MICHIGAN TO EXPAND THE ELECTRONIC CHARGE REFERRAL INTERFACE TO ADD ADDITIONAL COUNTIES AND COURTS. NOTIFICATIONS TO SUPPORT PERSONNEL AND END USERS ARE BEING IMPROVED TO BE MORE DETAILED AND DESCRIPTIVE. OJBC IS IMPLEMENTING NEW FUNCTIONALITY TO SUPPLEMENT A WARRANT WITH SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION ABOUT OFFENDERS INCLUDING HEIGHT, WEIGHT, GENDER, RACE AND ETHNICITY. THIS WILL HELP ELIMINATE DUPLICATE DATA ENTRY AND ADDITIONAL WORK FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL.
