THE PHILANTHROPIC FUNDS RAISED BY THE LVMPD FOUNDATION ARE CRITICAL TO ADDRESS THE BUDGET GAPS FOR LAS VEGAS METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT WITHIN THE STRATEGIC PILLARS OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES, OFFICER TRAINING, AND EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY. THESE FUNDS ENABLE LVMPD TO REMAIN A WORLD-RESPECTED PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCY WITH THE BEST-TRAINED OFFICERS LEVERAGING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY TRENDS. ADDITIONALLY, THE IMPACTFUL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON RELATIONSHIPS, PARTICULARLY IN UNDERSERVED NEIGHBORHOODS, FACILITATE POSITIVE INTERACTIONS AND REDUCTION OF VIOLENT CRIMES IN OUR COMMUNITY.
