FOLSOM RODEO:ONE OF THE BIGGEST TRADITIONS OF FOLSOM IS THE ANNUAL FOLSOM RODEO. AT THE EVENT ITSELF, THE RODEO CONSISTS OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT EVENTS, INCLUDING BULL RIDING, BRONCO RIDING, BARREL RACING, STEER WRESTLING, AND THE ALWAYS POPULAR "MUTTON BUSTING". FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT AS INTERESTED IN WATCHING THE FESTIVITIES, ONE CAN ALWAYS ENJOY THE NIGHTLY CARNIVAL THAT SETS UP IN THE PARKING LOT. AFTER THE END OF THE RODEO, FIREWORKS ARE LAUNCHED EVERY NIGHT, WHICH CAN BE SEEN THROUGH ALL OF FOLSOM.
FOLSOM WOMEN'S CONFERENCE:FOLSOM WOMEN'S CONFERENCE PROVIDES INSPIRATION, EMPOWERMENT AND GROWTH. IT IS THE LARGEST WOMEN'S EVENT IN THE REGION, WITH OVER 500 ATTENDEES THIS EVENT HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF COLLABORATION AND BRINGING WOMEN OF ALL AGES TOGETHER TO INSPIRE AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER.
FOOTHILLS WINE EVENT:WINE ENTHUSIASTS WILL GATHER FOR THE FOOTHILL WINE FEST, WHICH TAKES PLACE AT PALLADIO SHOPPING CENTER IN FOLSOM. ATTENDEES WILL BE ABLE TO TASTE A BROAD SELECTION OF WINES THAT HAIL FROM THE SIERRA FOOTHILLS, INCLUDING AWARD WINNERS FROM THE FOOTHILL WINE FEST COMPETITION, WHICH TOOK PLACE EARLIER IN THE YEAR. MORE THAN 20 WINE JUDGES GATHERED IN FOLSOM TO EVALUATE AND SCORE APPROXIMATELY 400 WINES IN THE SECOND YEAR OF THIS ANNUAL COMPETITION.
