THE SACRAMENTO METROPOLITAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ADVOCATES FOR AND SUPPORTS ECONOMIC SUCCESS OF ITS MEMBERS AND THE SIX-COUNTY CAPITAL REGION BY LEADING THE EFFORT TO GROW AND RETAIN BUSINESS.

THE SACRAMENTO METROPOLITAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STRIVES TO CREATE A FERTILE GROUND IN WHICH BUSINESS THRIVES. WE ADVOCATE FOR OUR MEMBERS AND FOR THE SIX-COUNTY REGION WE SERVE THROUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMING SUCH AS CAP-TO-CAP AND STUDY MISSION AND RECOGNIZE BUSINESS AND THOUGHT LEADERS WITH OUR ANNUAL BUSINESS AWARDS. OUR MISSION IS TO MAKE THE CAPITAL REGION THE BEST PLACE FOR BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.DURING 2022, THE METROBUSINESS CENTER FOCUSED ON PROVIDING SUPPORT TO SMALL AND MID-SIZE BUSINESS THROUGH ITS 1:1 DIRECT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, GROUP EDUCATION SESSIONS AND RESOURCE OUTREACH EVENTS. THE CENTER PARTNERED WITH LOCAL JURISDICTION PARTNERS TO MARKET FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL ECONOMIC RECOVERY GRANT OPPORTUNITIES TO SMALL BUSINESSES THAT EXPERIENCED HARDSHIPS DUE TO PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS ON THEIR OPERATIONS. THOSE EFFORTS LED TO OVER 2,000 BUSINESSES SERVED, 6300 COUNSELING HOURS PROVIDED AND YIELDED $27.3 MILLION IN POSITIVE ECONOMIC IMPACT FOR BUSINESSES IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO REGION.
