PIONEER COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC VIABILITY OF GILLIAM COUNTY, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SAFE, APPROPRIATE, AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO LOW-INCOME AND MODERATE- INCOME PERSONS, TO DEVELOP NEW AND ENHANCE EXISTING BUSINESSES, AND TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THIS REGION.

GILLIAM COUNTY ATTAINABLE HOUSING PROGRAM - PROGRAM IMPLEMENTED TO IMPROVE AND INCREASE AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN GILLIAM COUNTY, OREGON AND PROVIDES FOR LOW INTEREST LOANS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES. ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS FOR CERTAIN DEMOLITION, ABATEMENT & UTILITY EXPANSION WORK.


COMMUNITY BLOCK DEVELOPMENT GRANT HOMEOWNER HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM FOR LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS TO OBTAIN UP TO 25,000 IN 0% INTEREST LOANS TO IMPROVE THE SAFETY AND HABITABILITY OF RESIDENTIAL HOMES.


OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO GILLIAM COUNTY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THAT ALLOW THESE ENTITIES TO KEEP COSTS LOW AND PROVIDE BUSINESS ENHANCEMENT SERVICES TO SURROUNDING AREAS.
