THE PORTLAND FARMERS MARKET SERVES A CUSTOMER BASE OF 15,000 PER WEEK AND PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR OVER 200 SMALL BUSINESSES AT 5 MARKETS IN PORTLAND'S URBAN CORE. THE MARKETS PROVIDE: FERTILE GROUND FOR SMALL LOCAL FARMS AND FOOD BUSINESSES TO GROW, OPPORTUNITIES FOR SHOPPERS TO MEET FOOD GROWERS AND PRODUCERS AND VIBRANT SPACE WITH EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES TO GATHER. ADDITIONALLY, PORTLAND FARMERS MARKET PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO SUPPORT OUR COMPANION CHARITY, FARMERS MARKET FUND.
