WORKWELL INSPIRES AND EQUIPS MISSION-DRIVEN BUSINESS OWNERS TO BRING ABOUT MEANINGFUL CHANGE FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THEIR COMMUNITIES.

WORKWELL WAS ESTABLISHED IN FEBRUARY OF 2023 AND WE WERE ABLE TO RECRUIT A ROBUST BOARD MADE UP BUSINESS OWNERS AND NON-PROFIT LEADERS FROM THE DENVER METRO AREA. WE SPENT THE EARLY PART OF THE YEAR DEVELOPING PRACTICAL TOOLS THAT HELP SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED BUSINESSES DO COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYEE CARE AND COMMUNITY IMPACT. THE TOOLKIT AND A NUMBER OF OTHER RESOURCES ARE NOW LIVE ON OUR NEWLY DEVELOPED WEBSITE. WORKWELL SUCCESSFULLY PILOTED A DEBT REDUCTION BENEFIT TOOL THAT ENABLES COMPANIES TO OFFER ZERO INTEREST LOANS AND FINANCIAL COACHING TO THEIR FRONT-LINE EMPLOYEES. IN NOVEMBER, WE BEGAN FOCUSING MUCH OF OUR ENERGY AND RESOURCES ON A MIGRANT WORKFORCE INITIATIVE. BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL NON-PROFITS, WORKWELL BEGAN CONNECTING MIGRANTS WHO HAVE WORK PERMITS TO COMPANIES THAT HAVE THE ABILITY AND DESIRE TO PROVIDE GOOD JOBS TO SPANISH SPEAKING INDIVIDUALS. WE EXPECT THIS TO BE A MAJOR FOCUS IN 2024 AS WE SEE A GROWING OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS A GLOBAL ISSUE RIGHT HERE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
