ENLACE ACCOMPLISHES THIS THROUGH TRANSFORMATIVE DIRECT SERVICES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, PREVENTATIVE COMMUNITY EDUCATION, OUTREACH AND POLICY ADVOCACY IN COLLABORATION WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

DIRECT INTERVENTION SERVICES - OFFER DIRECT SERVICES FOR BOTH VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN, INCLUDING CRISIS INTERVENTION, SAFETY PLANNING, ASSESSMENT, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING, RENTAL ASSISTANCE/TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, PARENTING AND LIFE-SKILLS CLASSES, AND LEGAL REPRESENTATION. WE ALSO OFFER ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT, SO VICTIMS ARE ASSISTED IN OBTAINING SERVICES AND ARE ABLE TO SELF-ADVOCATE ON ISSUES SUCH AS HOUSING, HEALTH, FINANCIAL MATTERS, EMPLOYMENT, ETC. WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,000 INDIVIDUALS IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.
PREVENTION AND OUTREACH STRATEGIES - BUILD LEADERSHIP AMONG LATINO IMMIGRANT YOUTH AND ADULTS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ENGAGES THEM TO INFORM AND EDUCATE THE LATINO IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS AS IMMIGRANT VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THEM IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.
