FIFTH WARD CRC IS A COMPREHENSIVE REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION THAT CONCENTRATES ITS WORK IN THE IMPOVERISHED 5TH WARD COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES, MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE TRADITIONALLY UNDERSERVED RESIDENTS THROUGH ITS PRIMARY LINES OF BUSINESS AND PROGRAMS. THESE CORE LINES OF BUSINESS AND PROGRAMS ARE FOCUSED IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING, DISASTER RECOVERY, PUBLIC SAFETY AND JUVENILE JUSTICE, ART AND CULTURE, ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION, COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT, AND OTHER PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES.
