THE MISSION OF CONTRA COSTA INTERFAITH HOUSING ("HOPE SOLUTIONS") IS TO PROVIDE PERMANENT, AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND VITAL SUPPORT SERVICES TO HOMELESS AND AT-RISK FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN CONTRA COSTA COUNTY.

IN 2017, HOPE SOLUTIONS PARTNERED WITH CONTRA COSTA COUNTY TO LAUNCH AND IMPLEMENT THE COUNTY'S HOUSING NAVIGATION PROGRAM. HOPE SOLUTIONS HAS COLLABORATED WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS AT VARIOUS CARE CENTERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY. IN THE LAST YEAR, THE HOUSING NAVIGATION TEAMS HOUSED 211 PEOPLE.
IN 2015, HOPE SOLUTIONS EXPANDED ITS SCATTERED SITE MASTER LEASE MODEL. IN THE LAST YEAR, HOPE SOLUTIONS HOUSED 51 FORMERLY CHRONICALLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, HOPE SOLUTIONS ALSO HOUSED 23 FORMERLY CHRONICALLY HOMELESS FAMILIES THROUGH THE SCATTERED SITE MODEL. HOPE SOLUTIONS' EXPERTLY TRAINED MOBILE SERVICE TEAM OF CASE MANAGERS PROVIDE SERVICES TO ENSURE THEIR STABILITY, PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELL-BEING, AND TO ASSIST THEM IN RETAINING THEIR HOUSING AND INCREASING LIFE SKILLS. THE CHILDREN IN THIS PROGRAM RECEIVE INTENSIVE ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND HAVE ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING.
IN JULY 2019, HOPE SOLUTIONS WAS AWARDED A CONTRACT TO IMPLEMENT THE COUNTY'S CALWORKS "HOUSINGWORKS!" RAPID REHOUSING PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES ACCESS TO PERMANENT HOUSING, TIME LIMITED RENTAL SUBSIDY, AND INTENSIVE SUPPORT DESIGNED TO HELP FAMILIES FIND, MOVE IN, AND ULTIMATELY SUSTAIN PERMANENT HOUSING. IN THE LAST YEAR, 40 HOUSEHOLDS WERE HOUSED.
