TO EMPOWER THE HOMELESS AND WORKING POOR TO ACHIEVE SELF SUFFICIENCY BY PROVIDING SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING SHELTER, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, FOOD, JOB PLACEMENT, ADVOCACY, CHILDCARE, EDUCATION AND LIFE-SKILLS TRAINING.

THE SPA 8 COORDINATED ENTRY SYSTEM (CES) FOR ADULTS, FAMILIES AND YOUTH IS A SYSTEM DESIGNED TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY TO HOUSE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, HOMELESS FAMILIES AND HOMELESS YOUTH.


THE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (FRC) IS THE PORTAL FOR ALL THE AGENCY SERVICES AND INCLUDES SEVERAL PROGRAMS. FISH, THE AGENCY FOOD PANTRY, PROVIDES FOOD, CLOTHING AND HYGIENE ITEMS, CASE ADVOCACY, RENTAL ASSISTANCE, RESOURCES AND REFERRALS. HOPE FOR SENIORS TARGETS CLIENTS 55 AND OVER AND PROVIDES ACCESS TO THE FOOD PANTRY ONCE A MONTH. STOP HUNGER NOW ASSISTS WITH SIGNING UP FOR CAL FRESH BENEFITS.


HIS CHILDREN'S CENTER, WHICH INCLUDES THE MARY GIMINEZ-CAULDER CENTER AND HIS KIDS CLUB, PROVIDES LICENSED CARE (MONDAY - FRIDAY) TO INFANTS, TODDLERS, PRESCHOOL AND SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN WHO ARE ENROLLED IN HARBOR INTERFAITH PROGRAMS. PARENTS MUST BE WORKING AND/OR ATTENDING SCHOOL.


ACCELERATED LEARNING AND LIVING PROGRAM - PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND JOB DEVELOPMENT TO HOMELESS FAMILIES THAT ARE ENROLLED IN HIGHER EDUCATION.FAMILY SHELTER PROGRAM - PROVIDES SHELTER FOR UP TO 90 DAYS TO HOMELESS FAMILIES. SERVICES INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT, COUNSELING, AND REFERRALS.
