DANCE SCHOOL AND COMPANY PROVIDING DANCE INSTRUCTION AND PUBLIC PERFORMANCE. FOCUS ON TRAINING GOOD DANCERS AND SHAPING GOOD PEOPLE.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
SCHOOL: COLUMBIA DANCE SERVED 150 STUDENTS, AGES 3 THROUGH ADULT DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. COLUMBIA DANCE PROVIDES TRAINING IN BALLET, MODERN JAZZ, HIPHOP AND LYRICAL.
PERFORMANCES: COLUMBIA DANCE PERFORMED TO LIVE AND LIVESTREAMED AUDIENCES IN DECEMBER FOR THE NUTCRAKER, WHERE THE FIRST OF OUR NEW FORT VANCOUVER THEMED PRODUCTIN PREMIERED. THERE WERE 1,654 LIVE ATTENDEES AND 161 LIVESTREAMS PURCHASED. THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE VANCOUVER SCHOOL DISTRICT, 1,180 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS ATTENDED THE LIVE PERFORMANCES AND 1,986 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WATCHED A LIVESTREAM. THERE WERE SIX NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCES. THE FOUR SPRING SHOW PERFORMANCES IN JUNE HIGHLIGHTED THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF OUR STUDENTS. ALMOST 600 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
