THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO TEACH AND SHOW INDIVIDUALS OF THE COMMUNITY THE METHODS OF WOODS MANAGEMENT AND PRODUCTION PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND FUNDING FOR YOUTH AND INDIVIDUALS IN EASTERN LEWIS COUNTY.

FUNDS WERE PROVIDED BACK TO LOCAL YOUTH AND TEEN CENTERS IN MORTON PROVIDING THE DISADVANTAGED YOUTH LOCATIONS AND ACTIVITIES FOR EDUCATION AND SPORTS.
THE COMMUNITY PROVIDES A VENUE FOR LOGGING SPORTING ACTIVITIES, AND COMMUNITY EVENTS TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES. WHILE THESE ACTIVITIES TEND TO BE FOCUSED ON ACTIVITIES OF WOODS PEOPLE (LOGGERS, SAWYERS,ETC) THESE ARE THE INDIVIDUALS THAT SUPPORT AND RAISE FAMILIES LIVING IN EASTERN LEWIS COUNTY. THESE MEN AND WOMEN PROVIDED THE WOOD TO BUILD HOUSES, AND COMMUNITIES.
