SAFETY SERVICES: ABC PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY SERVICES FOR OUR MEMBERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. THIS INCLUDES THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPANY SAFETY PROGRAMS, FIRST AID/CPR TRAINING, AND TRAINING IN OSHA 10 AND OSHA 30 CLASSES, WHICH ARE REQUIRED UNDER BOTH FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS.
WORKERS' COMPENSATION SERVICES: WE PROVIDE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO OUR MEMBERS TO ASSIST WITH WORKERS' COMPENSATON PROGRAMS IN WASHINGTON STATE. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE MAKING CERTAIN THAT ANY INJURED WORKERS RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE AND THAT THEY RETURN TO WORK AS SOON AS THEY ARE ABLE TO DO SO WITH APPROVAL FORM THEIR PHYSICIAN.
GOVERNMENT AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS: ABC MONITORS GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS THAT MAY AFFECT OUR MEMBERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. LAST YEAR PROVIDED CONTRACT STAFF IN WASHINGTON TO MONITOR LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AND REPORT TO OUR MEMBERS WITH REGARD TO LEGISLATION AFFECTING THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AND SMALL BUSINESS. WE ALSO ISSUED NEWSLETTERS AND EMAILS PROVIDING INFORMATION ON LEGISLATION, AND THE INSTRUCTING OUR MEMBERS ON HOW TO CONTACT THEIR LEGISLATORS IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO.
OUR ASSOCIATION PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS ON VARIOUS TOPICS THAT HELP OUR MEMBERS IMPROVE THEIR OPERATIONS AND TRAIN EMPLOYEES. ABC HELPS OUR MEMBERS GROW THEIR BUSINESSES AND CREATE JOBS THROUGH BUSINESS NETWORKING OPPORTUNTIES.
