OUTREACH & EDUCATION: LEAD, PROMOTE AND ADVOCATE FOR EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT OF HISPANIC NURSES INCLUDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF MORE HISPANIC SCHOLARS AND EDUCATORS; PROVIDE MORE LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR HISPANIC NURSES; EXPLORE AND DEVELOP PARTNERSHIPS TO HELP PROMOTE THE EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT OF HISPANIC NURSES AND IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR LATINOS IN THE UNITED STATES. ENGAGE IN FUNDRAISING AND BUILD STRATEGIC ALLIANCES WITH FUNDERS THAT RESULT IN NURSING EDUCATION OF HISPANICS AND CAREER AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT; SEEK PARTNERS TO ASSIST WITH OUTREACH TO THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE - PROVIDED A FORUM FOR NURSES TO ANALYSE AND EVALUATE THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY THROUGH PRESENTATIONS, FOCUS GROUPS, PEER INTERACTIONS, MENTORING, AND TASK-DRIVEN COMMITTEES AND MEETINGS.
